+mary f. sisney out here on the road, I interact with all kinds of people. The trucking industry is no longer dominated by potbellied rednecks, as it was when I began my career in 1987. I felt like an outsider then and I feel even more like an outsider now.
As part of my extra at home education, my father (a retired diesel mechanic, Southern Baptist preacher and a graduate of UT Arlington history major) insisted that I read Karl Marx Communist Manifesto. Although Obama has never openly stated that he is a marxist and no one in the main stream media has ever made the accusation, He did state in one of his books in a paragraph describing how he chose his friends and associates, he chose to be around good marxists (birds of a feather?). His grandfather introduced him to his mentor, Frank Marshall Davies when he was 10 in Hawaii. His policies and actions are the most telling, as if Karl Marx's ghost is whispering in his ear. The people he surrounds himself with now are marxists. Valerie Jarrett and Van Jones are as openly communist as Liberace was gay. Putin doesnt like Obama because he sees Obama as weak. A good communist should be strong like Stalin, in Putin's mind. I know that the first black president is a milestone for black people in America. And folks want him to be well regarded, respected and an example of what the black community has to offer the world. I have no objection to a black man or woman being president. Ethnicity is not an indicator of ability or character. Just NOT this one. Evidence seems to be contrary to your assertion that he not a communist. He is a community organizer, who was indoctrinated in communism early in life, no political, economic, foreign policy experience. Surely the black community can do a better job of picking heroes.
My wife is hounding me to start driving. We're in Canton, TX. and have to be in Laredo, TX. in the morning.
