Boehner Meets with Navistar CEO, Discusses Springfield Plant

In a meeting with Troy Clarke, President and CEO of Navistar, Congressman Boehner talked more about Navistar’s Springfield assembly plant and the important role the plant will play in the company’s future.

As Congressman Boehner has said, companies like Navistar do great work creating jobs in our local area, but they could be doing a lot more if big government would get out of the way.  

The House has passed a number of bills that would help – bills to reduce government red tape, encourage American exports, and improve job training programs, just to name a few.
