If you are looking to schedule a Capitol tour, please fill out the required sections of our tour request form below and a member of our staff will assist you with booking your tours. Please request your tour at least 2 weeks in advance, as spots tend to fill up quickly.

Arlington National Cemetery:
Open daily from 8:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M April through September and 8:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M October through March. The Changing of the Guard ritual takes place every hour from October 1st to March 31st, and every half hour from April 1st to September 30th. Also available at the Cemetery are the graves of President John F. Kennedy and President William Howard Taft as well as a number of military monuments and memorials.

Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
400 Michigan Ave. NE. Admission and parking are FREE of charge. Although the Basilica is open 365 days a year, hours and tour times may vary. For more information please visit www.nationalshrine.com.

United States Botanic Garden:
100 Maryland Ave. SW. National Garden and Observatory open daily from 10:00 A.M to 5:00 P.M, including holidays. Admission to the Garden is free. Free 45-minute highlight tours may be available on the day of your visit.

Bureau of Engraving and Printing:
14th and C St. SW. The Visitor’s Center is open 8:30 A.M to 3:30 P.M with extended hours during the summer. Space is given on a first-come, first-serve basis during non-peak season hours. Free tickets are required for peak season hours. Tickets can be acquired at the Raoul Wallenberg Place ticket booth starting at 8:00 A.M. Arrive early to reserve tickets. Constitution Gardens
Located on the National Mall between the Lincoln Memorial and the World War II Memorial. The gardens are open 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Rangers for this area may be found daily at the nearby Vietnam Veterans Memorial between the hours of 9:30 A.M. and 11:30 P.M. There are no fees or reservations associated with a visit however a permit may be required for some planned events. Crime Museum

Ford’s Theatre and Lincoln Museum:
511 Tenth St. NW. Typically open from 8:30 A.M to 5:00 P.M but hours may change due to rehearsals and matinee performances. See website for further information on hours. Tickets are available for daytime tours, performances, and History on Foot tours. All tickets are available online through Ticketmaster.com, over the phone, as well as through the Ford’s Theatre box office. Groups of 15 or more should reserve their tickets through the Ford’s Theatre Group Sales office.

Holocaust Memorial Museum:
100 Raoul Wallenberg Place SW. Admission is free for all exhibits, but passes are required from March to August to enter the Permanent Exhibition. Passes are available at the museum on a first-come, first-serve basis. Exhibitions are open 10:00 A.M to 5:20 P.M daily excluding Yom Kippur (September 14th, 2013) and Christmas Day.

International Spy Museum

General admissions tickets are $19.95 for adults (12-64), $15.95 for seniors (65+), military, and law enforcement, $14.95 for youths (7-11), and FREE for children ages 6 and under as well as members. Library of Congress:
Thomas Jefferson Building, 1st Street SE. Tours are available Monday through Saturday every hour starting at 10:30 A.M until 3:30 P.M. The 3:30 P.M tour is unavailable on Saturdays. Federal holiday tours begin at 9:30 A.M. For groups of 10 or more please make a reservation 30 days in advance.

National Aquarium:

National Archives:
Located on Constitution Ave. NW between 7th and 9th Street. Hours are 10:00 A.M to 7:00 P.M daily March 15th through Labor Day, and 10:00 A.M to 5:30 P.M the day after Labor Day until March 14th. National Firearms Museum

National Museum of the Marine Corps.
18900 Jefferson Davis Highway. Open daily from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. The museum is closed on Christmas Day. Admission is free, however reservations are requested for certain group visits. Special warning – due to the graphic nature of some exhibits caution is advised when bringing small children.

National Zoological Park:
3001 Connecticut Ave. NW. Open year-round except Christmas day. Exhibit buildings are open 10:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M in the summer and 10:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M during the winter. The grounds are open 6:00 A.M to 8:00 P.M in the summer and 6:00 A.M to 6:00 P.M in the winter.

Navy Museum
805 Kidder Breese St. SE. Patrons are to use the 11th St. SE and O St. SE (1022 O St. SE) entrance. Open (through July 7th) Monday through Friday 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 10 A.M. to 5 P.M. Beginning July 8, the Museum will be closed on Mondays. The Museum is also closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, as well as New Year’s Day. Admission to the museum is free.

Newseum
555 Pennsylvania Ave. NW. Open daily from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M. The Newseum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Tickets are available online (10% discount) or at the admissions desk and are good for two consecutive days. Prices (before discount and excluding tax) are $21.95 for adults (19-64), $17.95 for seniors (65+), military, and students with valid I.D., $12.95 for youth (7-18), and free for children 6 years of age and younger.

Phillips Collection:
1600 21st St. NW. Open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 A.M to 5 P.M and Sundays from 11 A.M. to 6 P.M. Thursdays have extended hours until 8:30 P.M. The museum is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Day, July 4th, and Thanksgiving. Admission is free for the museum collection. Exhibition tickets are $12 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and free for children under the age of 18.

President Lincoln’s Cottage
Upshur St at Rock Creek Church Rd. NW. Visitor Center open Monday through Saturday 9:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. (first cottage tour at 10 A.M. and last tour at 3 P.M.), and Sunday from 10:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. (first cottage tour at 11 A.M. and last tour at 3 P.M.). Facilities are closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day. Supreme Court:
1 First St. NE. Courtroom lectures are available Monday through Friday every hour on the half-hour starting at 9:30 A.M until 3:30 P.M. When the court is in-session lectures are available only after the Court adjourns for the day. Visitors are served on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Vietnam Veterans Memorial:

Washington Monument:
Open daily except for the 4th of July and Christmas day. Admission is free but tickets are required. Tickets can be picked up at the Washington Monument Lodge on 15th Street and are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets are also available online or by phone. Open 9 A.M. to 10 P.M during the summer with the last tour at 9:45 P.M. For the rest of the year the monument is open 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Washington Walks
Washington Walks is a company that provides numerous walking, bus, and group tours throughout the Washington D.C. area. Tickets for tours are $15 a person unless otherwise noted and kids 3 years of age and younger are free. No reservations are necessary, however tickets can be purchased in advance through http://www.zerve.com/WashWalks.
