Artistic Discovery - the Congressional Art Competition

 2015 High School Art Competition

Each spring the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.

The winning entry from each congressional district across the United States is displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol.  The winning student from each congressional district is invited, along with one guest, to the unveiling of the exhibit and a reception in Washington, D.C. and is provided two round-trip airline tickets for the occasion.

The deadline to submit art for the 2015 competition will be Friday, March 27, 2015.  Please refer to the competition guidelines and student release form below when considering the competition.
