Artistic Discovery - the Congressional Art Competition
2015 High School Art Competition
Each spring the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in the nation and in each congressional district.
The winning entry from each congressional district across the United States is displayed for one year in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol. The winning student from each congressional district is invited, along with one guest, to the unveiling of the exhibit and a reception in Washington, D.C. and is provided two round-trip airline tickets for the occasion.
The deadline to submit art for the 2015 competition will be Friday, March 27, 2015. Please refer to the competition guidelines and student release form below when considering the competition.
The them for the 2015 Art Competition is "American Heritage." Students submitting artwork should be able to relate their work to the theme “American Heritage."

2015 Student Release Form. Print out and complete form. To enter the contest, a completed student release form should be mailed to Congressman McClintock's district office at 8700 Auburn-Folsom Road, Suite 100, Granite Bay, CA 95746 or faxed to (916) 786-6364.
