WASHINGTON – Today, Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) issued the following statement on House Republican Leadership’s decision to pursue legislation allowing Congress to sue the President over the Affordable Care Act:

“House Republicans are moving forward with a plan to sue the President for delaying the employer mandate of the health care reform law. This is a taxpayer-funded tantrum and a lawsuit they don’t even want to win.”

The 113^th Congress is on track to be the least-productive in U.S. history. As Republican Leadership pursues this lawsuit, Congressman Yarmuth continues to support legislation to create good jobs and raise workers’ wages, rebuild our crumbling infrastructure, and fix our broken immigration system.
