Help with a Federal Agency
How Can Joe Help You?
I am honored to represent you in the United States Senate and am here to help in any way possible. My staff and I can assist you when you are having problems with a federal agency, such as obtaining your Social Security, Medicare, or veterans' benefits, requesting passports or visas, or need information on Small Business Administration loans, for example.
While I will make my best efforts to assist you, please remember that federal agencies have discretion concerning decisions on individual cases and have the final say on the outcome. Thank you for visiting my website, and please do not hesitate to contact my office if you have questions.

Helping You with Federal Agencies
Senator Donnelly can help you if you need assistance dealing with a federal agency. A federal agency is an organization that reports to the Executive Branch of the United States Government such as the Social Security Administration (SSA), the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Postal Service (USPS), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), to name a few. If your concern is with a federal agency, his casework staff is authorized to investigate on your behalf.
Note: you must have already filed an application, petition, formal complaint or otherwise contacted the federal agency in writing before Senator Donnelly’s office can intervene on your behalf.
Unfortunately, Senator Donnelly’s office cannot help you if your problem is with a state or local agency, or if it is a judicial or civil matter before the courts. Learn about local & state issues here and judicial issues here to determine if you should contact another elected official or legal representation.
