Days after the House passed landmark legislation to help individuals with disabilities, three of its champions in the House teamed up to deliver the Weekly Republican Address.
The ABLE Act, which passed the House on Wednesday with 404 votes, amends the Internal Revenue Service code to create tax-free savings accounts for individuals with disabilities. Rep. Ander Crenshaw (R-FL) first introduced this bipartisan legislation in 2006, and will appear in the weekly address along with House Republican Conference Chair Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R-WA) and House Rules Committee Chairman Pete Sessions (R-TX).
