Gosar is Proud to Receive the Chamber of Commerce’s

“Spirit of Enterprise” Award

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce awarded Congressman Paul Gosar D.D.S. their prestigious “Spirit of Enterprise” award. The award is issued to members of Congress based on rankings given for key business issues which have been established as priorities by the Chamber as detailed in its yearly publication, How They Voted

“While many in Congress were busy playing politics, Representative Gosar was working to protect and advance the interests of America’s job creators,” said Thomas J. Donohue, president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber. “America’s beacon of light shines brighter today because of Representative Gosar and his efforts.”

The award is intended to symbolize the Chamber’s appreciation of those members who have consistently supported policies which promote jobs, growth, and free enterprise in America. It is the twenty-fourth year that the U.S. Chamber has formally honored the accomplishments of this distinct group of members of Congress.

“I am honored to have received the “Spirit of Enterprise” award. As a small business owner for 25 years I am happy to serve as a voice for Arizona business and to fight to advance their competitive position in the global economy. I understand the great importance of revitalizing the nation’s economy and will continue to support and fight for policies that stimulate growth and prosperity.”

Congressman Paul Gosar D.D.S. is proud to have received the highest ranking within the Arizona delegation alongside Representative David Schweikert. The 112th session was scored on 11 Senate and 16 House votes in 2011, including the repeal of 1099 reporting requirements, the 3% withholding from contractors, and the health care law.
