Makes clear that the ability of health insurance companies to continue offering for sale in 2014, outside of the new insurance exchanges, those health policies in the individual market that were in effect as of Jan. 1, 2013 is subject to the following preconditions: (1) Iinsurers must notify enrollees that they can purchase coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace where they can potentially qualify for premium tax credits; (2) Insurers must tell consumers what protections they are giving up to keep the plan they have; and (3) in addition to providing notification by mail to each affected enrollee, insurers must also post these notices on their websites.
