Beatty Statement on the Ferguson Grand Jury Decision

COLUMBUS, OHIO – U.S. Congresswoman Joyce Beatty (OH-03) released the following statement regarding the Ferguson Grand Jury decision.

“I express my deepest condolences to the family of Michael Brown, as his death was undeniably tragic. He will not be forgotten.”

“I urge those who are upset to turn their anger into positive action to adjust the system. The more people we have engaged in the process of electing officials, registering to vote, and voting on Election Day, the more likely we are to see a justice system that truly represents the American people.”
