Bachmann Tours USS Minnesota

I was honored to meet the Commanding Officer and the sailors of the newly commissioned USS Minnesota (SSN-783). The third Navy vessel named for our great state, and the first to bear the name since USS Minnesota (BB-22), a battleship that was retired in 1924. These brave men and women will take Minnesota's namesake to places most of us could never imagine. I am grateful for the honor for our state, and for their selfless service to our country.
