Women's Career Success Conference
New Mexico's economic growth depends on the success of women.
On Thursday, April 17, I'm hosting the Women's Career Success Conference in Las Cruces to help women in New Mexico improve their job skills and enhance their careers.
If you are a woman looking to start your own business, needing help improving your résumé, or simply considering a career change, I invite you to join me for this exciting conference.

The conference will bring together area employers, nonprofit organizations and federal agency officials to offer personalized skill-building opportunities for women to strengthen their competitiveness in the workforce.
Highlights of the Women's Career Success Conference in Las Cruces include:
- breakout sessions with HR professionals who can offer resume and cover letter writing tips
- salary negotiation skills to help you get the salary or promotion you deserve
- interviewing tips and mock interview practice
- skill-building sessions focused on networking, communication and harnessing individual strengths and assets
- lessons in what it takes to start a successful small business, including creating a business plan, securing business loans, and marketing your business
