Udall Addresses Senate on Omnibus Appropriations Bill, Discusses Key Funding Provisions for Colorado
Mark Udall took to the floor of the U.S. Senate today to discuss the budget proposal and key provisions for communities across Colorado. Udall heralded the inclusion of $3.1 billion for firefighting and wildfire prevention programs but also expressed disappointment that lawmakers did not responsibly fund the Emergency Watershed Protection Program and Payment-In-Lieu-of-Taxes program, also known as PILT.
