Udall Decries Obstruction of Efforts to Secure Equal Pay for Equal Work for Colorado Women

Mark Udall held a press call to discuss the Paycheck Fairness Act, which he co-sponsored, and the need to empower women and strengthen Colorado's economy. Udall decried a small group of lawmakers' efforts yesterday to successfully block legislation that aimed to level the playing field and ensure women are not shortchanged in the workplace. Liz Watson, the director of Workplace Fairness for Women at the National Women's Law Center, joined Udall to speak about the wage gap in Colorado and around the country.
