Recognition for Nuclear Weapons Workers
Our nation's nuclear weapons workers — including many who served at Rocky Flats — are true patriots who sacrificed immensely to protect our safety during the Cold War. These heroes deserve our utmost recognition for their service, which is why I've led the effort to designate October 30 as a national day of remembrance in their honor. I'm proud to join with Coloradans to mark this day each year, and will continue fighting to ensure our Cold War patriots receive the care and compensation they deserve.
