Appointed to lead the nation’s largest pediatric rehabilitation hospital in 2003, Amy Mansue is a highly-regarded social services and healthcare executive.

As President and CEO of Children’s Specialized Hospital, she provides leadership to a team of clinicians and therapists providing specialized care for children. An affiliate member of the Robert Wood Johnson Health System, Children’s Specialized operates 12  sites throughout NJ. 

Under Ms. Mansue’s leadership, Children’s Specialized was named by NJ Biz as one of the “Top 25 Places to Work” from 2006-2009 including number one in 2008 and in the top 100 Best Healthcare Employers in the U.S. by Modern Healthcare in 2008 and 2009. Children’s Specialized was named 2012 Hospital of the Year by NJBIZ Healthcare Heroes, and is the only pediatric rehabilitation system to be named to New York Magazine’s Top Hospital Listing.   

Ms. Mansue worked for Governor Jim Florio on healthcare policy. She oversaw programs for children, people with developmental disabilities, mental health and Medicaid as a Deputy Commissioner in the NJ Dept. of Human Services.

Ms. Mansue was selected as one of New Jersey’s 2014 Best 50 Women in Business by NJBiz and a top 10 health care policy analyst and expert by NJ Spotlight. 

Ms. Mansue serves on the Boards of the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce, Rutgers University, New Brunswick Development Corporation, Middlesex Water Company, Children’s Hospital Association, and the Association’s Public Policy Council.

Ms. Mansue received her bachelor’s degree in social welfare and master’s degree in social work, planning and management from the University of Alabama.  She lives in Hightstown, NJ.
