The office of Congressman Tom Price is here to serve you when you visit our Nation's Capital. If you are a 6th District resident, you can request tour reservations through Representative Price's Washington, D.C. office.

White House: Reserved, self-guided tours of the White House are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and require at least two months of advance notice to complete background checks on all guests. White House tour availability can be extremely limited. All guests ages 14 and above will be required to submit name, date of birth, Social Security number, and country of citizenship. Guests under the age of 14 will be required to submit name, date of birth, and country of citizenship. After your group’s security information is submitted, the White House will then process the tour requests and contact our office approximately one to two weeks prior to your visit to let us know whether or not the White House has space to accommodate your request. Our tour coordinator will contact you regarding the status of your request at that time.

 

United States Capitol: Pending availability, staff-led tours of the Capitol are available through our office, Monday through Friday. Please try to give us as much notice as possible so that we may accommodate any of your specific needs. To arrange a personalized tour, please fill out our online tour request form.

 

The Capitol Guide Service provides public tours Monday through Saturday from 8:50 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Advance reservations can be made by visiting http://tours.visitthecapitol.gov/ or same-day passes are available at the “Public Walk-up” line near an Information Desk located on the lower level of the Visitor Center. The Capitol Visitor Center is located beneath the East Front plaza of the U.S. Capitol at First Street and East Capitol Street.

 

Library of Congress: Public tours of the Thomas Jefferson building are available Monday through Saturday at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 2:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. (although there is no 3:30 p.m. tour on Saturdays).  These free tours are open to individuals and small groups with no more than 10 participants.  We recommend that you do try to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance of the tour time to secure a spot in the tour.

 

Reserved Congressional tours of up to 15 people can be requested through our online tour request form.  Space on reserved tours is limited and often requires at least one month of advance notice. Congressional tours are not available on weekends or federal holidays.

 

Kennedy Center:  Kennedy Center tours are conducted by Friends of The Kennedy Center on weekdays from 10am-5pm and Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-1pm. Tours are free of charge and assemble at the Friends tour desk on Level A. Tours begin every 10 minutes and last about 1 hour. There are no tours on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day. In addition, there is a free concert at 6pm every night at The Kennedy Center, which you are welcome to attend. The nearest Metro station to the Kennedy Center is the Foggy Bottom stop. Visitors can walk to the Kennedy Center in about 10 minutes, or take the free Kennedy Center shuttle that stops directly in front of the station. The shuttle runs every 15 minutes starting at 10:00 am.

 

Reserved Congressional tours of the Kennedy Center are offered Monday – Saturday at 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. To arrange a reserved Congressional tour, please fill out our online tour request form.  

 

Bureau of Engraving and Printing: From March through August, tickets are required to tour the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. Tickets are free and can be obtained from the ticket booth located on Raoul Wallenberg Place (formerly 15th Street). The ticket booth opens at 8:00 a.m. closes when all tickets have been distributed for that day.  Tours run every 15 minutes from 9:00 a.m. – 10:45 a.m., 12:30 p.m. – 3:45 p.m., and 5:00pm – 6:00pm (March-August only).

 

Congressional tours of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing can be requested through our office and oftentimes require several months of advance notice. These tours take place on weekdays at 8:15 a.m. and 8:45 a.m. During peak visitation times (April – August), additional Congressional tours run every 15 minutes from 4:00 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. To request a Congressional tour of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, please fill out our online tour request form. The State Department: Tours of the Diplomatic Reception rooms at the State Department are available to request through our office. Reservations are required and availability is limited. Visitors will be required to provide the full name of each participant. To arrange a tour of the State Department, please visit our online tour request form.

 

Supreme Court: The Supreme Court guides lectures that introduce visitors to the history of the building, architecture of the courtroom, and an overview of the judicial process. On Days that the Court is not sitting, lectures are available Monday – Friday, on the half-hour, beginning at 9:30 a.m. and ending at 3:30 p.m.  On days that the Court is sitting, lectures are only available after the Court adjourns for the day. Congressional tours of the Supreme Court are available through our office. Please fill out our online tour request form for more information. Space is limited.

 

National Archives: Located at 8th and Constitution Avenue NW, the National Archives houses the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights. The National Archives museum is open every day from 10:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Reservations are available, but not required for entry.  Guests must enter at the door located on the corner of Constitution Avenue and 9th Street NW. Washington Monument:  Free, same-day tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Washington Monument Lodge located on 15th Street adjacent to the Washington Monument. The ticket window opens at 8:30 a.m. for same-day tickets. Click here to make an advanced reservation (nonrefundable service fees apply).
