Congressman Brad Sherman

Representing the 30th District of CALIFORNIA

Town Hall Meetings

Listening to Valley residents is one of the most important parts of my job. Town Hall Meetings are an opportunity to discuss issues facing Congress, including health care, the economy, taxes and education. The meetings also are a chance for you to meet my constituent service staff and get help dealing with federal agencies.

--Congressman Brad Sherman

Congressman Sherman conducts many different types of Town Hall Meetings.  Best known are his community-wide Town Hall Meetings in which the entire district is invited to discuss all the issues facing Congress.  He also does Town Hall Meetings limited to the students of a particular high school or middle school, or residents of a particular retirement community or employees of particular employers.  He has specialized Town Halls focusing on home ownership issues, the Middle East, Armenia and the Caucuses, India and South Asia, Airport Noise, and a host of foreign and domestic issues.  He also hosts Town Halls focused on Social Security, Medicare and other senior issues.  Sherman has hosted over 160 Town Halls.
