The U.S. Capitol
Tours of the Capitol are given both by the Capitol Guide Service (groups of up to 40 persons) or by a member of Congresswoman Sanchez's staff (no more than 15 persons). Tours of the Capitol include visits to the Crypt, Rotunda, National Statuary Hall, the Old Supreme Court Chamber, and the House Gallery.

The White House

Public tours of the White House are available from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday and Saturdays (excluding federal holidays unless otherwise noted). Tours are scheduled on a first come, first served basis. Requests can be submitted up to six months in advance and no less than 21 days in advance. To submit your tour request we will need detailed information such as: name, birth date, place of birth, and social security number. Please be prepared to provide this information for members of your tour party when we respond to your request.

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing
Congressional VIP tours of the Bureau are available Monday through Friday at 8:15am and 8:45am. Please note that the further in advance a request is made, the better chances are for getting a reserved tour spot. Tours are approximately 40 minutes. Tours are conducted Monday through Friday at 9:30am, 10:30am, and 2:45pm and are approximately 45 minutes in duration.

The Supreme Court
Tours are available Monday through Friday at 2:00pm when the court is not sitting. This tour lasts approximately 30 minutes.

The Department of State
Tours of the Diplomatic Reception Rooms of the Department of State are available. These rooms are used for official functions hosted by the Secretary of State and other high level government officials and hold a premier collection of 18th century American furniture, paintings and decorative arts.

The Library of Congress
Congressional VIP tours are available Monday through Friday at 8:30am and 2:00pm. A member of the Library staff will guide you on a tour of the Jefferson Building and introduce you to the “American Treasures” exhibit.

The National Archives
A special “Behind the Scenes” tour of the Archives is available Monday through Friday at 10:15am and 1:15pm. This tour includes a viewing of select original documents from the Archive's holdings, participation in staff-led hands-on activities, and the Rotunda containing the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights.

The National Postal Museum
Guided student tours of the National Postal Museum are available at 10:30am weekdays, May through September. Student tours are designed to adhere to the local curriculum standards of the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia.Reservations for guided tours must be made at least three weeks in advance. To schedule a guided student tour, call 202-633-5535.

Introductory tours of the Museum are offered to walk-in visitors at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. (based on docent availability). These tours meet at the Museum’s information desk and last approximately half an hour.

The Pentagon
Headquarters of the Department of Defense, the Pentagon is one of the world's largest office buildings. Tours include the mission of the Department of Defense and each of its branches of service, and visits numerous displays that highlight and depict significant moments in military history. The tour lasts for approximately 60 minutes and follows a route that is approximately one and one half miles in length.

The Kennedy Center
VIP Tours of the Kennedy Center are available daily at 10:00am and 1:00pm. The tour includes visits to the various performing arts facilities used at the Kennedy Center.

Please note FBI and State Department tours are closed until further notice.

Voice of America Studio
The Voice of America Studio Tour is a behind-the-scenes look at live broadcasting in radio, television, and the Internet in several of our 43 languages.  Tours are guided with audio and video features, and last 45 minutes.  Get a behind-the-scenes look at Voice of America, an international broadcasting agency funded by the U.S. Government with a worldwide audience of 123 million people every week.
