Interns
Interested in public service? Have a passion for politics? Internships are available in both my San Diego and the Washington offices. Internship candidates should be prepared to work on either a full or part-time basis with no monetary compensation. Interns assist with fielding constituent inquiries, public events, casework, research, and other special projects. Internship candidates should be prepared to work a minimum of 10 hours per week.
Internship applications are evaluated on a rolling basis for fall, spring and summer sessions. While we encourage all enthusiastic, hard-working applicants, being a constituent of California’s 53rd District is a plus!
If you are interested in interning in the San Diego office, please send an email to CA53DOInternApp@mail.house.gov that includes your resume, a cover letter, and three references. If you are interested in interning in the Washington office, please send an email to CA53DCInternApp@mail.house.gov with this information.
