Internships

Photo

An internship on Capitol Hill is an excellent way for college students to learn first hand how the legislative branch of the federal government operates, while gaining critical job training skills in a fast-paced, exciting work environment.

Interns contribute to the day-to-day operations of the office and have the opportunity to attend briefings and hearings. For students wishing to pursue a career in politics or government, an internship in a Congressional office provides invaluable resume-building experience.

Due to the high demand for these limited positions, preference will be given to Illinois residents.
