Dear Friends,

As you may know, I’ve been a long-time advocate of women; fighting to protect their rights. In 2008, I hosted my first women’s conference to provide a forum that addressed issues of specific interest to the women in my district. Six years later, with hundreds having attended each year, this event has become recognized as a valuable resource for women of all ages and backgrounds.

We’ve been privileged to have a number of strong, accomplished women keynote our previous conferences: actress Kristen Bell, special correspondent Lisa Ling, actress and UNICEF Ambassador Angie Harmon, and eBay CEO Meg Whitman. These speakers, along with outstanding breakout session speakers, have made tremendous contributions to my annual conferences. They’ve helped empower women, giving them the tools and resources necessary to enrich their lives.
