U.S. Representative Ed Royce

39th District of California

California's 39th district encompasses cities in northern Orange County, eastern Los Angeles County, and southwestern San Bernardino County. The area is a hub for one of the most vibrant business, cultural and educational communities in Southern California. From defense contractor Raytheon in Fullerton to biomedical equipment manufacturer Beckman Coulter in Brea to Knott’s Berry Farm Amusement Park in Buena Park, the 39th district’s business community is strong and diverse.

This truly Californian district includes members of 95 different ethnic groups with Latinos and Asians accounting for just under 50% of the district's population. There are a number of great colleges and universities in the district, including California State University at Fullerton, Cal Poly Pomona, the Southern California College of Optometry, Hope International University, Mt. San Antonio College, and Western State Law School, as well as the North Orange County Community College District. Additionally, some of the best public and private elementary and secondary educational facilities in California call the 39th district home.

The communities that comprise the 39th district are the ideal combination of the comforts of suburban living coupled with the dynamic business opportunities of a major metropolitan area.
