Boehner: Take time to recognize just how important small businesses are to our economy

Congressman John Boehner (R – West Chester) today issued the following statement recognizing National Small Business Week.

“This National Small Business Week, let’s all take time to recognize just how important small businesses are to our economy and understand the issues our local small businesses face every day, all year long.  More and more, as I travel throughout the 8^th District and meet with our local job creators, I hear about the policies coming out of Washington that are causing small businesses to sit on their hands.  As a former small business owner, I get it – it’s taxes, regulations, and policies like the president’s health care law – and we’ve passed dozens of jobs bills in the U.S. House to help.  Year-round, I’m going to continue fighting on behalf of our local small businesses – they are the lifeblood of our economy and the key to job creation in this country.”
