Washington, D.C. - U.S. Senator Kay Hagan invites all 7th through 12th grade students and middle and high school counselors from across North Carolina to attend Military Service Academy Day 2014 on Saturday, September 20th at Forsyth Technical Community College in Winston-Salem, NC. The event will provide an opportunity for students, parents and counselors to learn more about the five service academies and Senator Hagan's nomination process.

"Every year, I am honored to assist some of North Carolina's best and brightest in their efforts to attend one of our nation's five prestigious services academies," Hagan said. "North Carolina is the most military-friendly state in the country and it is important to continue that tradition and pass it to our next generation of leaders as these talented students pursue serving our state and nation."
