Hagan to Present Bronze Star to Widow of a World War II and Korean War Veteran
Senator Kay Hagan will present the widow of Army Corporal Donald "Buddy" Moore, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War, with 11 medals and awards including the Bronze Star. Moore served in Northern Africa and Southern Italy as a heavy machine gun operator during World War II and later served as a member of the airborne military police during the Korean War. Senator Hagan's office worked to secure the medals and awards to make sure his contributions to our country were properly honored.
