Hagan to Receive the 2014 NC Association of Educators’ Excellence in Equity Award
Senator Hagan will be awarded the 2014 Excellence in Equity Award from the North Carolina Association of Educators (NCAE). Hagan will receive the award and deliver remarks at the NCAE's Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Gala. The NCAE Excellence in Equity Award honors a person who distinguishes themselves with a long-term commitment to excellence in equity at the local, state and national levels. It is given annually in recognition of long-standing efforts and leadership in the quest for equity for all people in our society.
