Senator Hagan Honors July 4th; Hagan Will March in Greensboro Fun Fourth Parade

Greensboro, NC - U.S. Senator Kay Hagan today released the following statement honoring North Carolina's military and veterans in advance of Independence Day:

"As we celebrate 4th of July with our family and friends, it is important to remember and honor those who served and continue to serve around the world to protect the freedom and liberty that we enjoy today. North Carolina is the most military-friendly state in the nation and as a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, I am committed to supporting our servicemembers, veterans and their families as they sacrifice to make our country safer. I wish all North Carolinians a happy and safe Independence Day."

WHAT: Hagan marches in the Greensboro Fun Fourth Parade

WHEN: Thursday, July 4; Parade begins at 9:30 am

WHERE: After the parade, Hagan will hold press avail approximately 10:15 am in the Wrangler parking lot located on Lindsay Street between Elm Street and Davie Street.
