Congressman John Boehner (R – West Chester) today issued the following statement congratulating Abbott on the opening of its nutrition manufacturing facility in Tipp City, Ohio.
“It’s been a real honor working with our state and local officials who have dedicated years to making Abbott’s new facility a reality. Without the teamwork and the kind of well-trained workforce that only the hardworking men and women in Miami County can offer, this simply couldn’t have been done. But equally as important, today’s opening serves as a reminder that Republican solutions are working in places like Ohio. Pro-growth policies focused on lowering taxes, balancing budgets and training a highly-skilled workforce are moving Ohio forward – all of this is despite the challenges being thrown in the way by President Obama and his Democratic-controlled Senate in Washington, who continue to press for higher taxes and increased government spending that’s making it harder to create jobs.”
