Ellmers Receives Golf's "Lawmaker of the Year" Award

Shares Honor with Congressman Jim Clyburn on National Golf Day

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Renee Ellmers released the following statement this afternoon after receiving We Are Golf's "Lawmaker of the Year" award.

"I'm honored that We Are Golf has recognized my work in Congress to help protect the industry and allow its economic impact to grow throughout the nation and North Carolina. I will continue to fight for common sense policies that will put the American people back to work, remove costly regulations that are crippling our small businesses, and balance our budget so that we can help families and job creators across the country. I am very grateful for this award and would like to thank We Are Golf for the work they are doing to educate people on the game of golf and the many benefits it creates for our society and our economy."
