"I'm excited to announce today the launch of American Job Creators - a new initiative that works directly with businesses in North Carolina and the Second District and helps them point out the government burdens that are hurting their businesses. We need jobs in this country, we need to get our industries back on their feet and allow the private sector to do what it does best: Create Jobs."

"American Job Creators, which you can find by visiting my website, encourages local businesses to submit details on how government regulations are costing them time, money, and jobs. My office will then work with them directly to highlight how this is costing people their jobs and prolonging our economic crisis. We are going straight to the source and in the process educating people on why more jobs are not appearing and what they can do to make them available now."

 American Job Creators is a new initiative in coordination with House Majority Leader Eric Cantor. Starting this week, North Carolina business leaders are encouraged to visit Congresswoman Ellmers' website to submit different ways that government regulations are harming their ability to hire more workers and increase their growth. The new program, first initiated by the House Oversight Committee, will be a major step in highlighting why local economies are struggling to recover and how removing artificial barriers created by the government will generate immediate job creation.
