Congresswoman Ellmers Applauds Ft. Bragg for Role in Bin Laden Raid

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Renee Ellmers released the following statement this morning from her office in Washington:

 "I join all Americans and North Carolinians in applauding the brave men and women of Ft. Bragg for their crucial role in the planning and execution of bringing Osama bin Laden to justice. As it was reported yesterday, Fort Bragg's Joint Special Operation Command (JSOC) and special forces provided intelligence and played a crucial role in the highly successful and confidential mission that brought down the Al-Qaida leader in Pakistan on Sunday. They should be proud that justice has been served and Osama Bin Laden will never again harm another innocent victim of his violent ideology."
