Internships

In my Washington Office:

Are you interested in politics and public service? Would you like to spend a semester living and working in the nation’s capital? Congresswoman Renee Ellmers’ Washington, DC office is now accepting internship applications.

Main duties include researching policy issues, attending hearings and briefings, communicating with constituents, and assisting staff with various tasks. Spring internships typically run from January through May. The internship is unpaid but offers a great opportunity to learn the ins and outs of Capitol Hill.

All interested applicants are asked to send a resume and cover letter to intern coordinator Josie Beecher. Questions may be directed to my office in Washington at (202) 225-4531.

In my District Offices in Dunn and Asheboro:

If you are interested in an internship in my Dunn or Asheboro office, main duties include data entry of policy information, communicating with constituents, and assisting staff with various tasks.  Interested applicants are asked to submit resumes to District Manager Pat Fitzgerald.  Questions may be directed to my office in Dunn at 910/230-1910.
