PRIVACY POLICY

Protecting the privacy of Internet users is very important to Bill.

When you visit our Online Office, it collects and stores only the following information:

  • the name of the domain from which you access the Internet (for example, aol.com, if you are connecting from an America Online account),

  • the date and time you access our site, and

  • the Internet address of the web site from which you linked directly to our site or the Internet address of the computer used to link to our site.

Our government computer system creates summary statistics using this information for site management purposes.  These statistics allow Bill to determine what information on our Online Office is of most and least interest and assistance to users.  It also allows Bill to identify system performance or other problem areas.

PLEASE NOTE, unless you choose to provide such information, we do not collect or maintain personal information about you when you visit our Online Office.
 
If you send an email message or complete a web form containing personal information, we collect and store only the personal information that you choose to provide (for example, your mailing address, if an electronic mail message or web form requests that information and you disclose it). 

Information collected in this manner is used solely for internal purposes and in some cases, is used to respond to you.  Your personal information will never be shared with anyone outside of our offices. 

PLEASE ALSO NOTE, for site security purposes, this government computer system employs software programs to monitor network traffic.  Anyone using this system consents to the monitoring of their use by system or security personnel.

Unauthorized use and/or tampering with or modification of this system (or its supporting hardware or software) may violate federal or other statutes and may subject the violator to criminal and civil penalties.  In the event of unauthorized use or encroachment, all relevant information regarding possible violation of law may be provided to law enforcement officials.
