Congressman Farenthold Applauds Keystone XL Pipeline Passage
Washington D.C. – Voters sent a loud and clear message with the results of this last election – fix our broken healthcare system, secure our border and create more jobs. They’ve provided a path to accomplishing these goals by electing conservative majorities in both the House and Senate.
The House got right to work, last week, passing legislation that will put America back on the path to prosperity by creating good-paying jobs and boosting energy independent. Farenthold stated, "Friday, the House and I passed H.R. 5682, a bill to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline, with bi-partisan support of 252 to 161."
“We are getting America back on track passing good, common sense legislation that will grow our economy, create a healthcare system that delivers affordable care without bankrupting individuals, and deal with the immigration issue by securing our borders first.” Farenthold concluded.
