Standing on the Capitol steps with Brice Carter and
Caleb Fisher. They served as interns in my Washington
office during the Summer of 2014.

Washington, D.C.

Interns in my Washington, D.C. office will have an opportunity to learn about the legislative process and the federal government by working with the legislative and communications staff members.

Corpus Christi and Victoria Offices
By assisting my district staff, interns have the opportunity to gain firsthand experience providing constituent services and interacting with the community through a Congressional office.

These are unpaid internships and interns are responsible for their own housing. My staff will be happy to make housing suggestions. Additionally, my intern coordinator is very willing to work with college professors and interested students to design a specific internship that will fit both the office's needs and the student's needs.

Academic credit may be available for college students participating in the internship program. Please check with your college or university for more details.
