Projects

The AOC is responsible for the care and maintenance of more than 17 million square feet of buildings and 553 acres of grounds.

Many of these structures are more than a century old and their constant upkeep is critical as they are working office buildings of the Congress and the Supreme Court. While some projects are highly visible, such as the restoration of the Capitol Dome; many are unseen, such as modernization of plumbing and electrical systems or refurbishment of offices.
