Internships

Congressional internships provide individuals with valuable hands-on experience working closely with staff in a wide-range of areas including press, correspondence and legislative policy. Academic credit can be coordinated with your college or university.

Who Should Apply?
Successful applicants will possess a demonstrated commitment to community service, leadership potential, academic and extracurricular accomplishment, and strong writing ability. Preference is given to applicants with significant ties to the 4th Congressional District. You must be 18 years of age or older, a U.S. citizen, and a high school graduate presently attending or enrolled and completed your freshman year of undergraduate study or are a graduate student at an accredited university.

How do I Apply?
Dave Camp’s Washington Office provides internships all year round. This is a highly competitive internship and it is recommended apply several months in advance.
