Commission's Task Forces Set Meetings

WASHINGTON (June 12) -- The three task forces of the National Bipartisan Commission on the Future of Medicare have set their next meetings, Sen. John Breaux (D-La.) and Rep. Bill Thomas (R- Calif.) announced today.

All of the task force meetings are open to the public. The 17-member Commission established the task forces to study various aspects of Medicare. The task forces will make presentations later to the full commission about their findings and analyses.

The Reform Task Force is looking for innovative solutions to improve the current Medicare program. It will meet:
