Costa Reacts to Halt on Water Legislation Negotiations

Fresno, CA — Congressman Jim Costa (Fresno-D) released the following statement after it was announced that  negotiations on water legislation would be postponed until 2015.

“Passing legislation that allows water to effectively move throughout our Valley remains a top priority. I am committed to reaching a deal prior to the year’s end and will continue to explore any and all options available. As this process moves forward, I will continue to work, in a bipartisan manner, with my colleagues in the House to advance water legislation that benefits our Valley for this year, next year and until we fix our broken water system.”
