Jobs and the Economy

Our No. 1 priority must be job creation. Congressman Garcia believes that all Americans, if they work hard and play by the rules, should have the chance to live the American Dream. While Florida and the Nation are on the road of economic recovery, Congressman Garcia is committed doing everything he can to strengthen and accelerate our fragile recovery and put our economy on a strong long-term footing. That is why he cosponsored the Partnership to Build America Act of 2013, which finances $750 billion dollars in local infrastructure investments and provides jobs for many Americans.

A strong, growing middle class has always been, and must continue to be, the key driver of our nation’s economic growth. Congressman Garcia is committed to investing in our people through education and jobs training programs that ensure we always have the world’s best-educated and highly-skilled workers. He will also work to reinvigorate research and development sectors so that we out-innovate our competitors in the high-tech energy and manufacturing sectors that our key to our economic future.
