Claiborne

Named for the second governor of the Mississippi Territory, William C.C. Claiborne, Claiborne County is a county located in the Mississippi. Accordingly to the 2010 Census Claiborne County has a population of 9,604 with 84% of that population being African American, making it the third-largest African American populated county in the country.
