Members of Congress, school leaders and business owners came together in Greenfield, Indiana, to discuss the effects of the President's health care law on schools and businesses. The House Committee on Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions, on which Congressman Luke Messer serves, convened the hearing in an effort to learn directly from Hoosiers impacted by the Affordable Care Act. -

Thanks to great community partners, employers and job seekers, the Lawrenceburg Job Fair at Ivy Tech Community College was a huge success! More than 65 employers and hundreds of job seekers had the chance to meet one-on-one to discuss employment opportunities in our area. Hoosier veterans visit WWII Memorial, receive flags flown over Capitol
Congressman Luke Messer greeted Hoosier veterans at the World War II Memorial and presented them with flags flown over the Capitol. "Words cannot express my gratitude to these men and their families for the sacrifices they made," said Congressman Luke Messer. "It was a privilege to meet them and be able to give them a small token of appreciation on behalf of everyone in Indiana's 6th Congressional District for what they have done to defend and preserve the freedoms we enjoy."
