THOMPSON ANNOUNCES PARTICIPATION IN HOUSE SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman Bennie Thompson (MS-02) announced his participation in the Democratic Whip’s fifth annual Member Online All-Star Competition:

“I am always interested in connecting with my constituents. The Internet and social media have played an invaluable role in how I connect and share information with my District. I invite everyone to follow my social media pages and leave feedback. I see this as an opportunity to share my day-to-day life in Washington and even in Mississippi,” said Congressman Thompson.

The contest began on Monday, June 30, and will run for three weeks, ending on Monday, July 21. The top 50 Members at the end of the three weeks will be named Online All-Stars and the top finisher will be named MVP of the contest.
