Thompson Announces New Staffer, Terry Native Daphene Brooks

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Congressman Bennie G. Thompson (MS-02) announced Daphene Marie Brooks as his new Staff Assistant/Legislative Correspondent for his Washington, DC office.  Brooks, a native of Terry, Mississippi, will assist the Congressman by fulfilling various administrative duties, and constituent outreach. "I am pleased to have Daphene join our staff," said Congressman Thompson. “She brings enthusiasm and fresh ideas to the office. I am confident that she will bring her skills and education to further the work we do for communities throughout the District.”

“I am excited to have the pleasure of working with my hometown Congressman. I look forward to serving the Second Congressional District and the people of Mississippi,” said Brooks.

Brooks holds a Bachelor’s degree from Jackson State University in Business Management.
