CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON ANNOUNCES $150,000 AWARDED TO THE CITY OF INDIANOLA
BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The United States Department of Transportation has awarded $150,000 to the City of Indianola for construction of a hangar.
This grant will provide federal funding for the Indianola Municipal Airport in Mississippi. The construction of a hangar building will assist the airport to be as self-sustaining as possible by generating revenue. The sponsor has adequately financed the airside needs of the airport and there are no obstructions in the approaches to the airport. Indianola Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport associated with Indianola, Mississippi.
