BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Today, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced The United States Department of Transportation has awarded $118,521 to the City of Vicksburg to install taxiway lighting.

This grant will provide federal funding for the Vicksburg Municipal Airport in Mississippi. This project will install a new taxiway lighting system to enhance safe airfield operations during low visibility conditions. Vicksburg Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport associated with Vicksburg, Mississippi.
