CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON NOMINATES VAUGHAN YOUTH TO AIR FORCE AND MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMIES

 

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – George Anderson, has been nominated by United States Congressman Bennie G. Thompson to the United States Air Force and Merchant Marine Academies.

Mr. Anderson is scheduled to graduate in May 2012 from Yazoo County High School where he is a member of the National Honor Society, Ambassador of Yazoo County High School, a member of the Football Team where he currently holds the position of Strong Safety and formerly held positions as Running Back and Wide Receiver.  Mr. Burns is active in various civic organizations. He has received numerous academic, achievement, and civic awards.

George is the son of Mr. David and Mrs. Lenore Mills of Vaughan, Mississippi.
