CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON NOMINATES VICKSBURG YOUTH TO AIR FORCE, NAVAL, MILITARY AND MERCHANT MARINE ACADEMIES

 

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Jose Sanchez, has been nominated by United States Congressman Bennie G. Thompson to the United States Air Force, Military (West Point), Naval, and Merchant Marine Academies.

Mr. Sanchez is scheduled to graduate in May 2012 from St. Aloysius High School in Vicksburg, MS where he was the former Vice President of the Latin Club, active in Mu Alpha Theta Math and Science Honor Club, and member of the Soccer Team.  He mentors classmates in and out of the school setting. Mr. Sanchez is active in teaching Karate techniques to small children, and is active in various civic and community organizations.  He has received numerous academic, achievement, and civic awards.

Jose is the son of Mr. Jose and Mrs. Daisy Sanchez of Vicksburg, Mississippi.
