CONGRESSMAN THOMPSON NOMINATES VICKSBURG YOUTH TO COAST GUARD ACADEMY

BOLTON, MISSISSIPPI – Robert Arledge has been recommended by United States Congressman Bennie G. Thompson to the United States Coast Guard Academy.

Mr. Arledge is scheduled to graduate in May 2012 from St. Aloysius High School where he is Student Body President, a member of the Football, Power Lifting and Track Teams, member of the Environmental Club, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club. Mr. Arledge is an Eagle Scout, a member of the Catholic Youth Organization, and is active in various civic organizations. He has received numerous academic, achievement, and civic awards.
